The Overview

What it is, briefly.

Five-minute read. Skip ahead to pricing, what to expect, or FAQ.

Dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid-based gels that restore volume, smooth lines, and enhance facial contours. They work by replenishing the natural hyaluronic acid that diminishes with age, creating subtle lift and fullness in areas like the cheeks, lips, and under-eyes.

At Marea, we approach filler as an art form requiring technical precision. The product choice, injection depth, and placement are determined by your unique facial anatomy and aesthetic goals — creating results that enhance your natural beauty.

We use premium FDA-approved fillers including Juvederm, Restylane, and RHA collections. Our providers will recommend the optimal product and technique for your specific treatment goals during your consultation.

All FAQs
It depends on the strength of your facial muscles and the areas you want treated. As a rough guide, a full upper face (forehead + glabella + crow's feet) is typically 40–55 units. We assess and quote a specific number at your consultation, and you only pay for what's injected.
Most patients describe the injections as a brief pinch. We use 32-gauge ultra-fine needles and apply topical numbing on request. A typical visit involves 8–14 small injections and is over in under fifteen minutes.
First softening is typically visible at day 3–4, with full effect at day 10–14. We schedule a complimentary touch-up visit at two weeks for first-time patients in a given area.
Not in this practice. Our default is a conservative dose that preserves natural movement. Patients who want a more dramatic result can request additional units, but we start lower and add as needed.
Most patients return every 3–4 months for Botox. Dysport sometimes lasts slightly longer. Daxxify can last up to 6 months and is suitable for patients who travel often or prefer fewer visits per year.
The most common side effects are minor bruising at the injection site, mild headache for 24 hours, and rare temporary eyelid heaviness. Serious side effects are extraordinarily rare in the hands of an experienced injector. We review the full informed consent before any treatment.
We ask patients to avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and lying flat for 4 hours post-treatment. After that, you may resume your normal routine. Travel by plane is fine the same day.
Yes. We partner with CareCredit and Cherry for 6–24 month financing. Our Tide Club membership also offers a per-unit discount and includes priority booking and quarterly HydraFacials.
